How to apply for social housing

Contact the Intake Access Centre at 613-771-9630 or 1-866-414-0300 during regular business hours Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm. Staff will help you complete an application over the phone.

Waiting list

The length of your wait depends on the number of bedrooms required, location preference and vacancy turnover rate. This means it is difficult to know where you are on the wait list, and predict how long you will have to wait.

Monthly Rent

Rent is approximately 30% of the total gross household income. Persons receiving a fixed income such as Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program pay rates that are set by the Province of Ontario.
